GUYS MILLS - - Tammy Turner said she developed her Internet site out of frustration in not beingable to find data on what products are made in the U.S.

She began to develop it July in the wake of recalls of Chinese made goods that were sold in the U.S.  There are about a dozen or so and time consuming,
    said Turner.  "It's not a store, we don't sell anything," Turner said of www.madebyyankees.net, her Internet site.  It only has one purpose, said Turner —
    provide data to con­sumers consumer on what prod­ucts are made in the U.S. and where they can be purchased. The range of products to be found on the
    site includes house­hold products, sporting goods, toys and tools.

    Customers  can  search  for Consumers who cannot find a specific domestically made product and businesses whose products are not cur­rently listed in the

    American-made items either by product or by retailer.

Turner, who by day is the busi­ness manager at the State Correctional Institution at Cambridge Springs, said she's not making money on the project at this
     point. "I hope it can be a resource for people," she said.

Turner said her goal is to de­velop the site enough to gamer advertiser support on it.
